WELCOME TO TAOS, NEW MEXICO
PONDEROSA 4.2
SUNSET SMOOTH
Okay. We lied.
When we said our whiskey has no bite,
we forgot to mention the love bite of Ponderosa 4.2.
Subtle yet intoxicating, and with alluring notes of vanilla and maple, this blended whiskey is dangerous
to men and women alike.
Handcrafted with Taos rye, aged with Ponderosa bark and Pecan wood, and softened by spring-fed waters of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, this here is a whiskey as smooth as the sunset.
A true whiskey of the New West:

Owned by Women.
Chased by Men.
BLAZE YOUR OWN TRAIL
SHOOT STRAIGHT
"We weren't the biggest fans of whiskey.
That's how it all started."
When you set out to make a whiskey in New Mexico, a whiskey owned by women, you lean into the non-traditional. Or at least that's what Liza Barrett and Nicole Barady figured when the Taos Land Trust dropped a thousand pounds of rye on their doorstep.
Fast forward past the montage of trial and error (some four hundred iterations!), the owners of Ponderosa Whiskey Co. realized they were onto something.
"We wanted something approachable. Something that represented New Mexico. Something that we could sit down and drink and say, "hey, one more round!"

What they created was a tribute
to the New West:

A whiskey refined enough for the city,
Strong enough for the desert.
And bold enough to quiet
any old timer who thinks great whiskey
only comes from Appalachia.
